Country Music Hall of Fame member Bill Anderson explores his exhibition, "Bill Anderson: As Far as I Can See," for the first time, and friends and collaborators Vince Gill, Carly Pearce, Jon Randall, and Trisha Yearwood perform to help him celebrate the milestone.
"They titled this exhibit 'As Far as I Can See,'" Anderson said during the opening celebration in December 2021, "but in all honesty, I never saw this far."
Featuring historic photographs, treasured keepsakes, instruments, manuscripts and more, "Bill Anderson: As Far as I Can See" was compiled to provide detailed insight into the Grand Ole Opry mainstay's unprecedented career, which has included placing songs on the country charts in seven consecutive decades—from the chart-topping “City Lights” (recorded by Ray Price) in the late 1950s to “Whiskey Lullaby” in 2004 (co-written with Randall, and recorded by Brad Paisley and Alison Krauss).
"Bill Anderson: As Far as I Can See," on view at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum December 3, 2021, through March 19, 2023.
