Family, friends, collaborators, and admirers share stories and performances centering around Country Music Hall of Fame member Waylon Jennings in this “Live at the Hall” video compilation. Included: Jennings’s wife and fellow singer-songwriter Jessi Colter, his bandleader Richie Albright, producers Kyle Lehning and Allen Reynolds, and fellow songwriters and artists Marshall Chapman, Duane Eddy, Jamey Johnson, Shelby Lynne, Allison Moorer, Billy Joe Shaver, and Sharon Vaughn.
The performance and interview clips included span years of memories and music, and were filmed live at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum during regular public programs.
“Memories of Waylon Jennings: Live at the Hall” is presented in support of the Museum's major exhibition "Outlaws & Armadillos: Country’s Roaring ’70s," created to celebrate the era of cultural and artistic exchange between Nashville, Tennessee, and Austin, Texas, and the musical and visual artists whose work cemented the Outlaw movement's place in country music. Along with Jennings, Colter, and Shaver, the "Outlaws & Armadillos" story includes Willie Nelson, Kris Kristofferson, Bobby Bare, Cowboy Jack Clement, Tom T. Hall, Guy Clark, Townes Van Zandt, Tompall Glaser, and many others.
