Live at the Hall
•
8m 23s
Jenee Fleenor performs the traditional American folk song “In the Pines,” popularized by “Father of Bluegrass” Bill Monroe, and the Buck Owens song “I Don’t Care (Just as Long as You Love Me),” as part of the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum’s “Live at the Hall” performance and interview series. Her “Live at the Hall” episode was filmed on June 21, 2021.
For Jenee Fleenor’s main “Live at the Hall” program, the singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist joins the Museum’s Peter Cooper in the CMA Theater to perform and talk about her path to becoming one of Nashville’s most sought-after musicians. Recording artists including Blake Shelton, Martina McBride, Terri Clark, Larry Cordle, and Steven Tyler of Aerosmith have called on Fleenor’s talents for stage performances and studio recordings. Fleenor is also a two-time Country Music Association Award-winning instrumentalist of the year and the first woman to receive that recognition.
