Grammy and Country Music Association award winner Linda Davis and her husband, Grammy winner Lang Scott, perform and answer questions during the Museum’s weekly Musician Spotlight series. They are joined by their daughters, Rylee Scott and Lady A member Hillary Scott. This program, recorded on February 8, 2026, also features Catherine Marx on keyboard and Wanda Vick-Burchfield on fiddle.
During the program, Davis shares stories of her start in the music industry, singing at church, meeting Lang, and raising daughters Hillary and Rylee. The group performs a few Lady A songs, including “I Run to You” and “Need You Now”—both co-written by Hillary—and “American Honey.” They also perform “Misty,” “Does He Love You,” and “Thy Will.” Davis and the Scott Family end the program with the title track of their 2016 album, “Love Remains.”
Davis, a member of the Texas Country Music Hall of Fame, is best known for her Grammy-winning duet with Country Music Hall of Fame member Reba McEntire, “Does He Love You.” She has also shared the stage with Country Music Hall of Fame members Garth Brooks, Kenny Rogers, and George Strait.
