Music producer David “Fergie” Ferguson is joined by musicians and writers Pat McLaughlin and Mark Howard to perform “Four Strong Winds,” written by Ian Tyson, and “Hard Times Come Again No More,” written by Stephen Foster. Both songs are included on Ferguson’s 2021 album “Nashville No More.”
Part of the Museum’s “Live at the Hall” series, these live performances were recorded on October 21, 2021.
For his main “Live at the Hall” program, David Ferguson joins the Museum’s Peter Cooper to discuss his early career working as a recording engineer for Country Music Hall of Fame member Cowboy Jack Clement, and later as a producer for artists like John Prine and Sturgill Simpson. He performs “Chardonnay” and “Looking for Rainbows,” also featured on his “Nashville No More” album.
