Singer-songwriter Elizabeth Cook sings “Stanley By God Terry” and “Two Chords and a Lie,” both from her 2020 album “Aftermath,” at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum on July 29, 2021, as Bonus Tracks for the Museum’s “Live at the Hall” series.
For her main “Live at the Hall” program, Cook joins the Museum’s Peter Cooper to talk about her unconventional childhood, her songwriting heroes (including Rodney Crowell, John Prine, and Todd Snider), and her evolution as an artist. She also performs “Sometimes It Takes Balls to Be a Woman,” “Heroin Addict Sister,” and “El Camino.”
