Ohio native Kim Richey answers audience questions, performs songs she’s written, and tells stories from her career during the Museum’s weekly Songwriter Session series. This program was recorded on July 13, 2024.
During this program, Richey offers insights into her thirty-year career in the music industry as a songwriter and performer. She discusses the release of her 2024 album, “Every New Beginning,” and performs two songs from that album, “Joy Rider” and “Chapel Avenue.” Richey’s other performances are of the songs “A Place Called Home” and “I’m Alright.” She also answers audience questions, shares stories about the early days of her career, and gives insight into the process of writing and releasing songs.
Richey has released eleven albums. In February 2025, she is performing and touring across the United Kingdom and the Netherlands.
