Steve Forbert performed a bonus selection of songs live in Nashville, as part of a 2021 installment of the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum's “Live at the Hall” performance and interview series. Forbert's additional live performances here include: “Rough and Rowdy Ways,” a song from his Grammy-nominated Jimmie Rodgers tribute album “Any Old Time,” “I Blinked Once,” included on his 1988 album “Streets of This Town,” and 1982’s “No Use Running from the Blues.”
For the main “Live at the Hall” program, the acclaimed singer-songwriter also sat down with the Museum's Michael McCall to discuss his forty-year career, ranging from his late-seventies pop hit “Romeo’s Tune” up through his second collection of fellow Meridien, Mississippi, native Jimmie Rodgers's songs, late 2020's "Rodgers Revisited."
