As part of the Museum’s weekly Songwriter Session series, Summer Overstreet performs her most notable songs, which have been recorded by other artists and by Overstreet herself. During the program, recorded on July 11, 2026, she also shares stories from co-writing sessions.
Overstreet opens the program with “Up There Down Here,” recorded by Jake Owen. Throughout the session, she also performs “3, 2, 1,” recorded by Tyler Halverson; “Burning Love,” recorded by Hudson Westbrook; and “Phone, Keys, Wallet,” recorded by Lainey Wilson and featuring John Mayer on guitar. Overstreet also highlights some of her own releases her “The Women of Cheatham County” album, “Let Him Go, Leanne” and “WWE,” and performs “Talledaga 10,” released by her trio the Chattahoochies (Overstreet, Kree Harrison, and Audra Mae).
Overstreet is the daughter of Songwriters Hall of Fame member and 2026 Country Music Hall of Fame member-elect Paul Overstreet. In addition to Halverson, Owen, Westbrook, and Wilson, her songs have been recorded by Graham Barham, Max McNown, and Jenna Raine.
