During the feature-length BIG NIGHT (At the Museum)—filmed in 2020 at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum, and produced in partnership with YouTube—some of country and roots music’s brightest stars render timeless songs using priceless instruments from the Museum's collection.
Temporary Museum closure due to the COVID-19 pandemic allowed the Museum to remove these treasured instruments from their cases and place them in the hands of modern masters, for an unprecedented night of music that reveals country music’s essential place in the great American tapestry.
Those performers include host and Country Music Hall of Fame member Marty Stuart, with Alison Brown, Kane Brown, Carlene Carter, Rodney Crowell, Emmylou Harris, Miranda Lambert, Ashley McBryde, Reba McEntire, Tim McGraw, Keb’ Mo’, Brad Paisley, Ricky Skaggs, Stuart, Dan Tyminski, The War & Treaty, and Lucinda Williams, playing the treasured instruments and enduring songs of Johnny Cash, Patsy Cline, Loretta Lynn, Bill Monroe, Buck Owens, Randy Travis, and many others.
