To reflect on Loretta Lynn’s career as only family can, three generations of Webb and Lynn relatives join during this program to discuss the Country Music Hall of Fame member’s career and recall private family stories, all told with love and lots of laughter. Lynn’s younger sisters Crystal Gayle and Peggy Sue Wright join Loretta’s daughter Patsy Lynn Russell and granddaughters Tayla Lynn and Emmy Rose Russell in a multimedia program featuring live performances, family photos, and videos.

All of the participants are recording artists, and they take turns recalling how Loretta encouraged their musical careers. Tayla Lynn sings her grandmother’s 1960 hit, “I’m a Honky Tonk Girl,” Peggy Sue Wright struts through “Don’t Come Home A-Drinkin’ (With Lovin’ on Your Mind),” and Patsy Lynn Russell presents her mom’s “You Ain’t Woman Enough.” Gayle sings a medley of songs that her sister wrote for her, including “Sparklin’ Look of Love,” “Mama It’s Different This Time,” and “World of Forgotten People.” Loretta Lynn wrote the latter after receiving a poem from their mother.

Emmy Rose Russell, the youngest guest, closes the program with “Unwinding the Strings,” which she co-wrote about her grandmother after Loretta gifted her with one of her acoustic guitars.
