At this concert honoring master songwriter Tom T. Hall and his renowned 1974 children’s album, "Songs of Fox Hollow," the Country Music Hall of Fame member joins a cast that includes Bobby Bare, Patty Griffin, Buddy Miller, Duane Eddy, Tommy Cash, Jim Lauderdale, Peter Cooper, Eric Brace & Last Train Home, Gary Bennett, Jon Byrd, Mark & Mike, the Wrights, and Fayssoux Starling McLean, performing for an invitation-only audience at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum.
Held on Hall's seventy-fifth birthday, May 25, 2011, the program also includes an interview with Hall, as well as a behind-the-scenes video from the recording sessions for "I Love: Tom T. Hall’s Songs of Fox Hollow"—a various-artists tribute to Hall's beloved album, produced by Peter Cooper and Eric Brace, featuring Patty Griffin, Duane Eddy, Bobby Bare, and Buddy Miller, among others, and recorded at Tom T. Hall’s Fox Hollow farm. The album earned a 2011 Grammy nomination for Best Children's Album.
